About OAK

OAK is a consultancy and we support, activate and initiate in tackling tasks related to water, nature and green cities.

In this way, we contribute to a nicer and healthier living environment. That is where our inspiration and commitment has been since we were young.

We work with a wide network of specialists around us to always have a tailor-made team in place. OAK works from Utrecht and mostly in the Netherlands, but also regularly in England, Belgium, Spain and Romania.

OAK - our approach

Onze aanpak en manier van kijken naar opgaven en ambities stoelt op drie zaken: inhoudelijke kennis, creativiteit in participatie and kennis van processen.

Kennis: We start from a strong content base in the field of water, eco- and landscape systems. We cherish this craftsmanship and it is our starting point.

Creativiteit in participatie: We combine this with a creative perspective on participation, storytelling and communication. Why, how and what will you tell to get a project and people moving?

Kennis van processen: Third, we have extensive knowledge of area processes, spatial planning procedures, administrative processes and human behaviour. We deploy this knowledge and expertise all the time.

We prefer to work for a client for a longer time to enable us to really take ambitions a step further. That is our commitment. Always working towards achieving a decision-making with support.

The oak is a link between man and nature. It is at the same time a beautiful, strong tree that defines our European landscape and symbolises wisdom and quality. This fits well with our work: we want to have a long-term positive impact on water, nature and green cities.
